Welcome to Kookoo's Nest.

We hope you will enjoy visiting our website. And, if you like what you see here, we think you will enjoy it even more in person. We are your hosts, Jamie & Nikki Ingram. We have owned and operated Kookoo's Nest since 2001. We and our local staff would love to have you come and stay with us for a few days or a few weeks. Do call or e-mail us to make a reservation.

Kookoo's Nest offers recreation and relaxation on a beautiful white sand beach (see panorama below) with stunning sunsets and great food. We have five bamboo beach Cottages in a range of sizes to suit your needs. The cottages are surrounded by many species of tropical plants, including our towering coconut palm trees, which are regularly pruned to remove the danger of falling coconuts.

For recreation, we offer swimming in the clear waters of our private beach and kayaking along the sea coast and Tambobo Bay. Our "house" reef offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling, and we offer a range of Scuba Diving experiences, including PADI courses for both beginning divers and for those who wish to upgrade their qualifications.

We are very proud of the quality and variety of food on offer in our Restaurant. Nikki personally selects the best meats, fish, and tropical fruits and vegetables at the local markets. She has carefully chosen menu items to take advantage of the best that this tropical paradise has to offer.

If you need help with Transportation to the Kookoo's Nest, we will be glad to assist. Just give us a call. And we do encourage you to take advantage of your visit here to experience the Sights and culture of the Visayas islands, here in the central Philippines. We will be glad to help you plan your itinerary.

The best time to visit is from the beginning of November to the end of May. We are open all year round, but during the summer the onshore winds sometime make diving and other water activities difficult or impossible.

 


We accept payment in cash or travelers checks in most major currencies. Due to the unavailability of regular telephone service to this area, we regret that we cannot accept credit cards at this time.
